I work with a variety of people on a wide range of projects. I have interests in, and contacts for both field and lab sciences ranging from fisheries biology to the ecology of carnivores in Yellowstone National Park.  I lead the summer and winter field courses that travel to Yellowstone National Park and the upper Great Plains.  I have contacts with people that work or do research in National Parks and Monuments.  Several of my students have done residency programs working with bears, wolves, coyotes and bison.  Other students have worked on remediation projects of invasive fish species in Yellowstone National Park. In addition, I am the departmental representative for the Student Conservation Association and I have helped student set up internships in national & state forests & parks in such places as in Alaska, California and Hawaii.
