Lori Trimble joined the department of biological sciences as a fulltime lecturer in January 2020, after three years on campus in other roles. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at UW-Eau Claire double majoring in ACS chemistry and liberal arts biology and was named to the USA Today 2007 All-USA College Academic First Team. She went on to complete a Master of Science degree in cellular and molecular biology with an emphasis in immunology at UW-Madison where she was a Phi Kappa Phi Fellow, Mortar Board Fellow, Science and Medicine Graduate Research Scholar, and a Molecular Bioscience Training Grant Awardee and conducted cancer immunotherapy research. 

Lori is the Fostering Success and Independence contact for currently enrolled students at UWW. This work is near and dear to her heart because of her lived experience and a deep desire to help others.

Lori began teaching science and technology camps for UWW PreCollege Programs in summer 2017, teaching the technology course for the Reading for Success in Math and Science camp. She taught the science classes for the STEM Training for Early Engagement and Readiness (STEER) camp in summer 2018 and summer 2019.

Lori became a New Student Seminar instructor for First Year Experience in fall 2018 and continues to teach this course each fall.

In March 2019, Lori started as an associate lecutrer for the College of Integrated Studies teaching online chemistry courses.

Lori Trimble first joined the Warhawk family in January 2017 as the social work department's academic department associate (ADA). She continued in that position until January 2020 and received the College of Letters and Sciences Mary Pinkerton Sprit award in 2018 and a University Staff Excellence award in 2019 during her time in that role.
