Mr. Evangelisti teaches three (3) courses in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health:

  • Safety 201: Personal and Public Safety

  • Safety 420: Environmental Management

  • Safety 453: Environmental Law


Bob has nearly 40 years of domestic and international industrial, consulting and academic experience in the environmental, safety and health (ESH) field.


He is a principal with Robert Evangelisti, LLC and is a:

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.)

  • Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA)

  • Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM)

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)


Mr. Evangelisti has a Master's Degree in Engineering from Cornell University. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester.


Bob has given papers at over 35 environmental and safety conferences. He has lectured on over 25 topics at professional seminars.

He has organized seminars on Environmental Auditing, Hazardous Materials Management, Root Cause Analysis, Hazardous Waste Management, Environmental Science, Water and Wastewater, HAZWOPER, Incident Investigation, etc.

Mr. Evangelisti has also taught environmental courses at the:

  • University of Wisconsin - Parkside

  • University of Wisconsin - Madison Extension

  • University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Extension


Bob is the past president and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Environmental Technologists (FET). He is a member of the American Society of Civil Enginners, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Midwest Water Analysts Association, and the Central States Water Environment Association.

He has worked in over 20 states and 25 countries. He retired from SC Johnson in 2012.
