Sarah Marty, professor of Arts Management in the College of Arts and Communication at UW-Whitewater, earned a Master’s Degree in Business from the Bolz Center for Arts Administration, an MS in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Bachelor of Music Education degree at UW-Madison. The 2008 winner of the Bartell Award for Excellence in the Arts, she teaches Arts Enterprise for the Wisconsin School of Business at UW-Madison and is a Faculty Affiliate at the UW Arts Institute where she is Co-Director of Holding History and the Madison Early Music Festival.

As a producer she enjoys collaborating with campus and community partners, whether working with the Director of the Badger Marching Band for the UW Varsity Band Show or welcoming the Dalai Lama to the Overture Center for the Arts. A trained musician and stage manager, she recently recorded a Swissconsin album of accordion music with her grandmother and is the Producing Artistic Director for Four Seasons Theatre.

Additional credits include Forward Theater, Wisconsin Public Television, Wisconsin Public Radio, Madison Opera, and Madison Theatre Guild. Producer credits include: Overture Center 10th Anniversary Celebration, 2013 and 2016 events with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, WPR Centennial Event in October 2014, and UW Varsity Band Show.
