I embrace the constructivist approach to teaching and learning, where both the learner and the instructor are able to co-create knowledge together. My goal as a counselor educator is to provide a safe, constructive environment where all learners, myself included, are willing and able to discuss both the easy and difficult aspects of being a mental health counselor.

Interests Outside of School: My family, church community, reading, and roller coasters!
