John Hubbard was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. John has taught at various Art Schools and Colleges in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin. He has been teaching 2-dimensional design at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater since 2005. John’s paintings and drawings have been exhibited at galleries in New York, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, the Chicago and Milwaukee areas and other locations in seven states. Recent work has focused on the creation of painted art furniture.
