I am an environmental manager with a strong interest in remote sensing and GIS applied to terrestrial ecosystems. For five years I studied shrub expansion in the Arctic using passive remote sensing. In 2014, I was hired at UW-Whitewater as an instructor. Besides teaching, I actively recruit undergraduate students to participate in environmental research involving remote sensing and GIS.
Research Interest:
Multispectral remote sensing.
Field spectroscopy.
Terrestrial ecosystems with an emphasis on vegetation.
