Bio

Barbara Bren serves as Andesen Library's Head of Reference & Instruction; liaison to the Communication, Music, Philosophy & Religious Studies, and Political Science departments; and coordinator of Federal and Wisconsin depository government information collections. She serves on Faculty Senate, General Education Review Committee, Audit & Review Committee, and Academic Development Committee. Prior to joining the UW-Whitewater faculty in 1990, she was as a reference librarian and coordinator of the federal government documents depository at George Mason University's School of Law Library. Her degrees are in music education, English, library & information studies, and communication.
