Dr. Shurley has been full-time college instructor since 2008 and at UW-Whitewater since 2016. He is the program Coordinator for the Strength and Conditioning minor, teaching classes in that program as well as coursework in the Human Performance major, and several other minors.  

Courses taught include:

Dr. Shurley is a BOC-Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
