During my undergraduate years at UW–Whitewater, I began working as a teaching assistant and later became a mentor, roles I held until I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. After graduation, I spent two years teaching 4th and 5th grade in an underprivileged area of Milwaukee. I later moved closer to home and continued teaching the same grades in Tomah, WI.
Over time, I realized that while I enjoyed aspects of teaching, I wasn’t truly passionate about the path I was on. I reflected on my most fulfilling teaching experiences, which had all taken place at the UW–Whitewater Children's Center. That reflection led me to take a position teaching 3-year-olds at a local center near where I was living. While I enjoyed that year, I still found myself missing the Children's Center community.
When I reached out to Chelsea to ask if there were any open positions, she immediately welcomed me back—and I’m so grateful to be here again. The Children’s Center is where I first discovered my passion for early childhood education, and I’m thrilled to be part of this special environment once more.
I currently live in Darien, WI with my partner and our Golden Doodle, Mika. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy gardening, walking my dog, roller skating, all things art (crocheting is my current favorite), and relaxing with a cup of coffee and a good mystery novel.

After submitting changes to HR, this information is updated every business day by an automated process. Changes to directory information will be reflected one business day after the changes are made by HR.
Department-level information (department name, phone number, website, fax number, division, etc.) can be updated by submitting a self-service ticket in ServiceNow with the Service indicated as “Campus Directory (Whitepages)” or by contacting the Help Desk.
